I found this Jean Paul Gaultier dress for Target priced at only $8 bucks. This dress is different in design because it has a draping sash connecting from the front to the back. For such a great buy and unique look, I just had to get it!

Since it's Father's Day, I thought I'd talk about my dad. Besides being anti-social, watching action movies, and living in fear of my mom, my dad and I also love art. When I was born, my dad received his Master of Fine Arts degree. And when I was six, my dad ~~let~~ watched me rip apart all his art books. On certain pages, I left a little red mark. This meant, I approved.

Thanks to Cat for the idea. Unfortunately, I drank too much tonight. And I decided it was a good idea to paint the nails red. The hand still looks cool. Just... kind of weird.

I moved into a temporary studio in the city. It's a lot more fun than anywhere I've been living for the past two years. I feel a lot more inspired to write, blog, and make videos (as pointless as they are). My first book is officially listed in the Library of Congress. I'm currently working on my second. But I guess, for now, you'll just have to wait.

It's rather easy to dismiss the things that I do. I'm not a model. I hate to network. Sometimes, I don't even give a shit about fashion. FUCK. I'm like that "kind of funny" girl who accidentally stumbled onto an audience. One day, I hope this world is forced to appreciate the contribution I've made to pop culture. Like Jesus or Juno or... something.

I never understood why people get so hung up about mixing silver and gold. I've always wanted a gold watch. Too many rap videos, I'm sure. My dream watch is a men's Rolex Daytona in 18kt. I think you can get one for roughly 25k............ right.

I found this Nixon Time Teller watch in the men's section of Barneys. My friend Franklin and I got matching ones; a nice compromise, since he deemed everything in the women's wear section to be "cougar" wear. It costs about $5-8 to get it re-adjusted. Totally worth it.

Probably not the best dress to wear with a bra.

Jason asked me if I wanted anything from Asia. I said "Surprise me!" - that's my default answer for "I don't want to give you an actual request. I don't want you to judge me." The last time I said "Surprise..." my college roommate brought me back a ceramic figurine of a little naked boy. When you dip the naked boy in hot and cold water... it pees. If you're reading this Jason - don't get me that.

Congrats to my friend Heidi for her AMAZING Central St. Martins BA show!!!

I love my friends. They are truly talented and dedicated to making beautiful clothes. I posted my friend Eri's collection last year. And this year, it's Heidi's turn. I'm so inspired by the people around me. The dress above, is my absolute favorite from the collection. I would reject so many men in this.

It reminds me of this Preen wrap sleeve blouse I've been coveting (another horrible word, I'm sorry). Maybe, this summer I'll put away the drapey things and try something different.

I used Manic Panic semi-permanent in "Lie Locks," mixed with conditioner, and left in for about an hour. Today, I look like my Japanese ex-boyfriend from high school. That's basically what I was going for.
