TRUE LOVE WON'T DESERT YOU

Journey "Someday Love Will Find You"

    I LOVE JOURNEY.

TOO MUCH RED WINE TONIGHT IS MAKING ME SICK.

    WHY IS THIS IN CAPS???

DIY: Wrap-turned-Scarf

This is the most easiest DIY ever! A very fun and simple DIY wrap-turned-scarf project that takes less than a minute to create and requires only one piece of fabric!

materials: scissors, measuring tape, and a rectangular piece of fabric (approximately 60 inches long).

Step 1: Fold the fabric in half from left to right.

Step 2: With the measuring tape, measure six inches down and six inches over from the folded side. Then cut an eight inch vertical slit.

Step 3: Open up the fabric and there should be two openings for your arms to go through.

That's it! Easy breezy right? This is a very versatile piece with many different styling options. It also works great if you want to pack light for your travels. Please, please credit and link back to Behind the Seams when using this tutorial. Thanks!!

WELCOME

Ray took these photos - during our trip to Hawaii and the cheese-tastic souvenir I took home and hung over the bed we both slept in. I usually don't like to be sentimental. Sentimentality is for the weak. My mom says I'm weak all the time. But she is a bitch.

It's hard to describe how I feel. I don't believe that the "right person" is meant to transform you. The "right person" is not going to make you feel love. You have to work for it. Love, or some kind of feeling close to it, is not for the lazy.

Anyways... breakups are hard. My heart is broken, I ran out of orange juice, and it's raining.

Oolong Green Tea

Riller & Fount dress, American Apparel socks, Chloe boots, Fashionology knuckle rings courtesy of Rachel @Fashionology, Chris Habana cross cuff, Clover web bracelet, Soixante Nouf hammered ring, Pamela Love ring, Yves Saint Laurent ring, Chanel temporary tattoos, Essie in Fed Up nail polish

I'm sorry I haven't posted an outfit in awhile. To be honest, this has been my default outfit for about a week now, give or take, a few things around my wrists. I picked up these Chanel temporary tattoos from the S/S 10 collection and runway. For $75 for a pack of 55, I think they're worth it. Random mid-week fun... is always worth it.

The weather is crap here. We took shelter inside my favorite place in the world, a Daiso. If you don't know what a Daiso is, it's like the Japanese equivalent of a $1 store. I purchase things like a ceramic lucky cat, a pink can opener and other useless items which do nothing except bring me happiness. Which I suppose, is all that matters.

Makes My Brain Explode

    Interview/ Eddie Borgo

Eddie Borgo collaboration with Jen Kao - the best thing in New York fashion right now. I believe this is from a previous season, but nonetheless amazing. I wish I could get my hands on some of this. Jen Kao is a designer I've been following for awhile. She is amazingly talented and I wish she didn't show such a small collection during NYFW. I would love to see more.

Eddie Borgo's jewelry is indescribable. Most of his pieces, like the ones above, are a bit out of my price range, but I would settle for this Bear Trap ring and a hug. Sigh, I guess it's time to save.

Which Way Is Up?

    2.11.09

This is the vlog I promised you guys. I hope you guys enjoy - for those that were curious about where to buy the CHRISHABANA cross cuff go here. I realize that I can't actually pronounce CHRISHABANA. So it's easier for me to say CHRIS HABANA. There was also one question I left out because I was so tired. It was: What do you consider your strengths? And your flaws?

So my answer would be: My biggest strength is the ability to say everything I want and feel in as little words as possible. Because one of my biggest pet peeves is when people just go on... and on... and on... and you're like... what was your point? Same with writing. It's a good thing I don't do that, then I don't annoy myself.

And my biggest flaw is that I'm really emotional. Sorry boyfriend.

Seeing shoes.

My Yves Saint Laurent "Imperiale" shoes from Bluefly finally arrived! It took close to a week but it was well worth the wait. Beautifully crafted yet so comfortable to wear.
I am madly in love with the suede/patent mix and the super sexy, cut-out wedge heels!!

The other day I was passing through the kitchen and saw a newspaper advertising a bunch of killer shoes! I immediately picked it up for a closer look.
"Darn. These aren't shoes! They're replacement mirrors for cars! " lol

My New Nickname Is Polka Dot

Comme des Garçons Tricot dress and wallet, fishnets, Chloe boots, Wolford socks

Eri, Heidi, and I went to Tapioca Express a couple weeks ago. Classy, I know. I've worn these shoes so much that I need to have the bottoms re-soled. In anticipation, I purchased these Jessica Simpson Dany platforms last week, in silver. Groovy.

The blog has been rather neglected these past weeks. A lot of personal issues have come up. But I promise I'll do a couple of updates in the next few days. In the meantime, I've made a Formspring, to answer any random questions you might have.

UPDATE: I'll be doing a vlog tonight. So get your last minute q's in!

Take no prisoners.
