DIY: Ribbon Statement Necklace

Things you will need: spool of ribbon, strong and durable thread, needle, ruler, scissors, and pearls.

Step 1: Take 6 inches of ribbon to create accordion folds.

Step 2: Pinch the gathered ribbon together and stitch the center securely. Step 3: Repeat steps 1 and 2 to create six folded ribbon pieces to serve as the main centerpiece of the necklace.

Step 4: Creating the two end pieces: Make two more folded ribbon piece with one end that is longer. Be sure that the extended ribbon is long enough to tie around the neck.

    Step 5: Thread your needle.
Step 6: Start with one end piece (the extended ribbon) and begin stringing on the folded ribbons and pearls. You can alternate between the different pieces for a desired look. This is where you get creative and make a necklace that is unique of your own. Finish the necklace by stringing the last end piece and knotting it securely.

Space Ring Forever...

    YSL ring

I wanted to take the time to thank all of my readers for continuing to read and support this blog. I probably don't do this enough, since others are a bit more known to be the "humble" ones. I took off my comments because I wanted peace of mind, not because I don't see and value all of your wonderful insight, advice, and commentary. I do.

We all get better over time. I hope this blog has become better in quality and real content. The blog-o-sphere can feel very competitive. Everyone wants to be a "star." But you just have to realize what you are good at. And then, you will find peace of mind, too.

paper hearts.

    sweater(unknown label), tweed mini(max), boots(aldo), bow-tie collar

I love love this sweater and how the knitted pattern on it resembles little white hearts. It brings back childhood memories when I used to cut out silly, paper hearts as a kid.

I paired the top with a tweed mini, a removable bow-tie collar, and a pair of Aldo boots. I hope everyone is having a great weekend! <3

It Never Rains in Southern California

Vintage silk blouse, RVCA jeans, H&M belt, Prada bag, Chloe boots, Target nail polish and fishnet tights, Chanel rouge lipstick

RVCA sent me these jeans awhile back. I've also been wearing fishnets under everything lately. When I take them off, because my jeans are so tight, it looks like my legs have been grilled. GrillZ?

My friend Peter says he wants to dress better. So he asks me to rate what he dresses like right now. And I said 4. Out of 10. And he was SO butt hurt! It's like, dude, why did you ask me then? If you're not going to accept it? So he left. And I text him again, "4."

DIY: Gold Statement Necklace

step 1: Clasp together the gold chain belt; Fold the chain in half and position on a flat surface forming a "u shape"

Step 2: Repeat step 1 with a long gold necklace.

Step 3. Place both "u shape" necklace & chain on top of each other. Tie a black ribbon on both ends.

Step 4: Entangle the necklace and chain belt. Use metal wiring to secure chains in place. Feel free to add extra necklaces and chains for a more bolder effect.

I Gott Grapez

LOLZ this song is stupid but I love it. Thiiiiiizzzzzzz.

I just got a brilliant idea for a new TV show. Instead of "Jersey Shore," they should do one about Asian American subculture and called it "AzN." It would feature go-go dancers, ricers, and those kids that work hustle at the cell phone store. Every episode would begin in a parking lot at In-n-Out. Probably in San Jose. I don't know... I'd totally watch it.

Your World and My World

Comme des Garcons Tricot dress, Wolford socks, fishnet stockings from Target, Doc Martens, Essie nail polish

Sometimes you don't want to be like... sex sex sex all the time.

Stomping around in my new favorite dress from Comme des Garçons "Tricot" label. I'm enamored with the awkward length and pajama feel. I've been a big fan of Cdg ever since I was a teenager. Although I'm not the type of person or blogger to kiss ass. Let me just say, Rei, I love you. You complete me, Tom Cruise style.

Happy New Years

    Happy New Year!

    This year I promise to:

    Be more free
    Clean my room

I suppose my real list is too extensive (and far too embarrassing) for this blog. I hope everyone had a fun-filled New Years Eve. Don't forget to check your Susan Miller horoscope for 2010!
